  1. Add all ingredients to bowl and mix until a loose crumbly dough forms then knead dough until smooth.
  2. Form dough into golf ball sized pieces
  3. Use a tortilla press or the bottom of a heavy dish to flatten your dough balls
  4. Cook your tortillas on a comal or flat pan over medium high to high heat. I usually cook them for about 10 seconds, flip, cook for a minute, flip and then cook another minute. The first 10 seconds help set the dough and hold in some heat when you flip it to cook the first side completely. You’ll know they are done when spots start to brown and they smell fantastic.
  5. As you finish cooking the tortillas be sure to put them in a tortilla warmer, towel or just wrap the whole stack in foil. They will steam themselves and stay warm and pliable.
